Washington home values up 7.3% in June

Washington-area home prices continue to improve at a faster pace than most of the nation, rising 7.3 percent from in June 2010 from June 2009. That gain was much better than the average national median price increase of 4.3 percent for the 20 markets surveyed in the S&P/Case Shiller Home Price Index.
